Jio is allocating broadband access to Jio Gigafiber broadband, Jio Home TV or Jio GigaTV, and Jio Apps in the same monthly plan. Triple – play plans are being tested by Jio GigaFiber.
However, Reliance Jio is still testing its broadband service FTTH in select Indian towns. Jio GigaFiber is not being officially rounded out. Many confirmations have already been received in connection with the Jio GigaFiber services as the Jio GigaFiber Preview offer, a deposit of security and so much, but Jio GigaFiber’s plans and prices still have to be announced.
The plan will provide 100 GB of high-speed data at 100Mbps, unlimited voice, Jio Home TV subscription and access to all Jio apps according to available detail. The reference to the Jio Home TV subscription could mean the Jio IPTV service’s name. The scheme is valid for 28 days.
The Triple Play plan consolidates data, Voice and IPTV subscriptions and access to applications under one bill. However, it is currently only available to employees of Reliance Jio. In addition to 1000 GB bonus data divided into 40 GB sachets, normal users can view a 30-day plan with 100 GB data at 1000Mbps.
The interesting part of the Triple Play plan is Jio Home TV, the IPTV service that Jio is rumored to test with his staff.
Jio GigaFiber registration began on 15 August last year. A Rs 4,500 security deposit was required for the Jio GigaFiber and Jio IPTV routers by the subscribers.
Jio had provided 100 GB of data per month with 100Mbps free of charge for three months according to the preview offer. While Jio GigaFiber’s precise plans have not been officially declared yet, reports suggest that Rs 500, Rs 750, Rs 999, Rs 1,299 and Rs 1,500 may be present.
